Times for setup and breakdown

Quick Note

Grass - everything is happening on grass, so you will need the right equipment to set up on grass (no tarmac or gravel surfaces).

To ensure the Woof Wag Festival runs safely and smoothly alongside other activities taking place at Wicksteed Park, all exhibitors and participants must follow the time instructions below.

Set-Up Time and Instructions

All exhibitors must arrive no later than 8am on Saturday 16 May.

Although the Woof Wag Festival officially opens at 10am, there will be other park activities taking place throughout the morning. For this reason, vehicle access to the event area will close promptly at 8am. Please plan your journey accordingly and allow extra time for unloading and positioning your gazebo or stand.

Once you have unloaded and positioned your gazebo or equipment, your vehicle must be parked directly behind your gazebo, within the designated Dog Demo parking area, or in the public carpark (as applicable).

For safety reasons:

  • Vehicles must remain in their parked position once set up is complete.

  • No vehicle movement will be permitted within the event area after 8am.

Take-Down Time and Instructions

The Woof Wag Festival closes at 4pm.

All exhibitors must keep their gazebos, stands, and displays in place until the event has officially finished.

Due to other activities taking place:

  • Early dismantling or packing down of gazebos is not permitted under any circumstances.

  • Take-down may only begin after 4pm.

Once the event has closed and event staff confirm it is safe to do so, exhibitors may begin packing down and removing vehicles in a controlled and safe manner.

Important Reminders

  • Arrive before 8am to guarantee access to the event area. Please see separate information on access points!

  • No vehicle movement is permitted once parked in the field.

  • Do not dismantle your gazebo or stand before 4pm.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping make the Woof Wag Festival a safe and enjoyable day for all visitors, exhibitors, and their dogs. 🐾
